​City of Colfax – Special Meeting 5/28/2026
A special meeting of the Colfax City Council was called to order by Mayor Krump 12:00pm. Present were Mayor Kyle Krump, Council Members Tom Steinolfson and Scott Gauslow. Absent was Jesse Moch and Shaun Jacobson. Also in attendance was Kim Berseth and Tamera Frankl.
Krump called the meeting to order at 12:00pm. Although Bevy’s Giving Tree has received approval from the City to hold gaming at the Colfax Bar, it will take some time for their paperwork to be completed. Krump spoke to Horace Lions yesterday to see if they would be interested in gaming at the Colfax Bar until Bevy’s is up and running. Sandy was also a part of that conversation and agreed to this, ensuring no lapse in gaming. It was confirmed that two organizations can be approved to having gaming at the site. Steinolfson motioned to approve the application submitted by Horace Lions Club for gaming at the Colfax Bar, seconded by Gauslow. Carried.
There being no further business, Gauslow made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Steinolfson.  Carried. Adjourned at 12:06pm.
